Lenten Small Groups 2024
Lent is better in community
Life is better when it is lived in community, but meaningful community can sometimes be hard to find. Perhaps now more than ever, we share a longing for intentional relationships. In small faith sharing groups, we have an opportunity to walk with others on the faith journey, form spiritual friendships, and grow as intentional disciples. Small group fellowship is a great place for those who may be distant from the church pews, but have a desire to be part of a faith community. We invite you to reach out to a friend (or two) and find a small group to join!
For Lent, we will journey together with Sharing God's Love Small Group Study. Most of the groups will be using this study, which includes prayer, a weekly Gospel reflection, as well as a (short) video study on one of the themes from Catholic Social Teaching each week from CST101 . Because Lent is a time when we pray, fast, and give alms to the poor, integrating the CST themes is a relevant formation piece for the season. If a group is using something different, it will be stated below.
